Spectra Professional Exposure Meter P-251

The Spectra Professional P-251 is a vintage analogue exposure meter built for straightforward light measurement in photographic and cinematography work.

Unlike the digital meters elsewhere in this range, the P-251 uses a traditional analogue display and is designed around measuring incident light. It is a piece of equipment from an earlier generation of photography, when dedicated meters like this were a standard part of many professional camera kits.

The P-251 has also been used beyond still photography, with documented applications in cinematography and architectural lighting where measuring illumination levels in foot-candles was required.

It has the look and feel of a proper piece of vintage photographic equipment, and makes an interesting addition to a film camera kit or collection of classic light meters.

This is a vintage item, so please use the supplied photographs to assess its condition and check what is included before purchasing.
