Pentax ME

The Pentax ME is a compact 35mm SLR from the late 1970s, paired here with a working SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/2 lens.

The 50mm is a classic everyday focal length on 35mm film, giving a natural field of view that's well suited to portraits, street photography, travel and general shooting. Its f/2 maximum aperture also gives you useful flexibility when the light drops and allows for shallower depth of field.

The camera body itself is not working, but the included SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/2 lens is working. Because the lens uses the standard Pentax K mount, it can be removed and used with compatible Pentax K-mount film and digital cameras.

That makes this package particularly useful as a repair or restoration project while still providing a usable vintage Pentax prime lens.
