It can be used with both ambient and flash light, with the digital display showing exposure information directly in the viewfinder as well as on the side of the meter.

There are also dedicated controls for working with highlights, shadows and mid-tones, plus a memory function that lets you compare readings and work out the average between two measurements. For film photographers working with scenes where exposure really matters, this gives you a lot more information than a basic handheld meter.

The Spotmeter F dates from 1981 and has become a classic example of Minolta's professional metering equipment.

This is a vintage item so please use the supplied photographs to assess its condition and check what is included before purchasing.

Best for: Film photographers, landscape photography, studio work, large-format photography and anyone who wants precise control over exposure.

What to expect: A vintage Minolta 1° spot meter with ambient and flash metering, digital displays and highlight/shadow/average calculation functions.
