Lomography B&W Orca 100

Lomography Orca 100 is a black and white film made specifically for 110 pocket cameras.

Rated at ISO 100, it's happiest with plenty of light and produces punchy monochrome images with bold contrast, deep blacks and plenty of character from the small 110 format.

The cartridge is tiny, easy to load and gives you 24 exposures, making Orca a fun option for vintage 110 cameras as well as newer cameras like the Lomomatic 110.

It's a slower film, so daylight is where it feels most at home. Give it plenty of light and expect a distinctly analogue result with strong contrast and the grain and character that make 110 photography its own thing.

What to expect

Expect bold contrast, deep blacks and defined detail, with the distinctive character that comes from shooting such a small film format.

At ISO 100, Orca likes light. Bright daylight is ideal, while flash can help when you're shooting indoors or after dark. Lomography specifically recommends its current 110 stocks for bright conditions.

The 110 negative is much smaller than 35mm, so don't expect the same clean, high-resolution result as a larger film format. That's part of the appeal. The smaller negative gives 110 photography a more noticeable grain and lo-fi character.

Orca 100 is a conventional black and white negative film. It does not use C-41 colour processing.
