What to expect

The instax mini Evo Cinema is a hybrid digital camera, not a traditional analogue film camera.

Your photographs and video clips are captured digitally. You can then choose which still images you'd like to print onto instax mini film.

The Eras Dial is central to the experience, letting you explore looks inspired by different decades. The companion app adds more options for working with video clips and sharing your creations.

Its upright design is deliberately different from a conventional compact camera, giving it a more hands-on, cine-inspired feel.

The video function records digital clips. It does not shoot motion-picture film, and instax prints are still photographs rather than moving images.

Developing

The camera uses Fujifilm instax mini instant film for physical prints.

Prints develop automatically after leaving the camera, with the image appearing gradually over approximately 90 seconds, depending on temperature.

No separate film developing service is required.

Digital photographs and videos do not require film processing.
