CineStill 800T
CineStill 800T is a high-speed 35mm colour negative film made for low light, artificial light and shooting after dark.
Rated at EI 800 and balanced for 3200K tungsten light, it is particularly at home around city lights, neon signs, interiors and night scenes. Its higher speed gives you more flexibility when the light starts to disappear, while still producing plenty of detail.
One of the things that makes 800T instantly recognisable is the red halation that can appear around bright lights and highlights. Street lights, headlights, signs and other strong points of light can develop a soft red glow, giving the film its distinctive character.
It can be shot at EI 800 for normal use or pushed when you need extra speed, with CineStill supporting push processing up to EI 3200.
The film is prepared for standard C-41 colour processing, making it easy to develop through most colour film labs.

What to expect
Expect a very different look from a standard daylight-balanced colour film.
Under tungsten and warm artificial lighting, 800T gives a more naturally balanced result than daylight film. Bright point light sources can produce its characteristic red halation, particularly against darker backgrounds.
In daylight, the film will produce a cooler colour response. CineStill recommends an 85 filter, or rating the film around EI 400 to 500, when shooting in daylight if you want a more neutral result.
Its wide exposure range also gives you room to experiment. CineStill lists EI 200 to 1000 for normal processing and up to EI 3200 with push processing.
Developing
C-41 colour processing recommended.
800T is made for standard C-41 processing and can be processed by normal colour film labs. CineStill also provides push-processing recommendations when shooting at higher exposure indexes.
For normal C-41 processing:
EI 200 to 1000: No push
EI 800 to 2000: 1 stop push
EI 1250 to 3200: 2 stop push
EI 1600 to 3200: 3 stop push for increased contrast
