AgfaPhoto Realishot DC8200

The AgfaPhoto Realishot DC8200 is a simple compact digital camera for anyone who wants something separate from their phone without making photography complicated.

It can also record Full HD 1080p video, making it a handy little camera for holidays, nights out, everyday snapshots and anyone chasing that compact digital camera feel.

A 16GB SD card is included, along with the rechargeable battery, USB cable, wrist strap and case, so you've got the essentials to get started.

What to expect

This is a straightforward compact camera, rather than something designed to compete with a modern mirrorless camera or high-end phone on outright image quality.

The useful part is the simplicity. Turn it on, frame your shot on the 2.7-inch screen and shoot. The 8× optical zoom gives you genuine framing flexibility, while built-in flash, stabilisation, face detection and automatic modes handle most everyday situations.

It's a good fit for someone who wants the fun and feel of carrying a dedicated digital point and shoot without needing to learn a complicated camera system.

Developing

No developing required.

Photos are recorded digitally to an SD card as JPEG files, while video is recorded as AVI. The camera can be connected to a computer by USB, or you can remove the SD card and transfer the files using a compatible card reader.
