AgfaPhoto Realishot DC8200

The AgfaPhoto Realishot DC8200 is a simple compact digital camera for anyone who wants something separate from their phone.

It's small, straightforward and easy to take just about anywhere. Whether you're photographing friends, heading away for the weekend or simply getting back into the habit of carrying a camera, the DC8200 keeps things uncomplicated.

The 8× optical zoom gives you a little more flexibility when framing your shots, letting you get closer to your subject without having to physically move closer. There's also a 2.7-inch screen for composing photographs and reviewing what you've captured.

A built-in flash is handy when the light starts to disappear, while features like image stabilisation and face detection help make everyday shooting a little easier.

You can also record Full HD video, making it a practical little camera for capturing moments beyond still photographs.

It comes with a rechargeable battery, 16GB SD card, USB cable, wrist strap and protective case, so you've got the essentials to get started.

A good option for someone looking for an affordable, easy-to-use digital camera without the complexity of a larger camera system.

Best for

Everyday photography, holidays, casual portraits, beginners, family moments and anyone who enjoys carrying a dedicated digital camera rather than relying entirely on their phone.

What to expect

The Realishot DC8200 is designed around simplicity rather than advanced manual photography.

The optical zoom makes it useful for everyday situations, while the built-in flash helps when you're photographing indoors or in lower light.

It's best suited to casual shooting in good light. As with most small compact cameras, photographs taken in darker conditions may show more noise and less detail than those taken outdoors during the day.

Images are saved digitally to an SD card, so you can transfer them to a computer, keep them on your phone or print your favourites.

Developing

No film developing required.

Photographs are saved as digital files on an SD card and can be transferred, edited, shared or printed.
